St. Patrick’s Day is almost here, and you know what that means...it’s time to break out the lucky green, search for a four-leaf clover, and get ready for a weekend of fun and delicious green treats!
Here at Ready to Thrive!, we don’t believe in depriving yourself of the things you love, and we know it’s not easy to turn down one of the delicious, minty Shamrock Shakes that are popping up everywhere this time of year. But with one small-sized shake running upward of 500 calories at McDonald’s, we wanted to think of a way to create an alternative that would cut out the fat and processed sugars without losing any of the shake’s amazing flavor.
This Green Shamrock Smoothie is exactly the solution! With mint extract and greek yogurt, you don’t lose any of the flavor or creamy texture of the classic Shamrock Shake, but you’re getting in a balanced serving of fruits and veggies too!
Here’s how you make it.
