Avocados are a great source of healthy fat. Don’t believe what you’ve heard—fat is actually great for your health! The fat from avocados will help regulate your blood sugar, support skin health, enhance the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients, and may even help boost the immune system.
Avocados are good for your heart health. If you’re looking to improve your cholesterol, try avocados! They contain something called beta-sitosterol, which helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels and improve heart health.
Avocados can help prevent osteoporosis. Vitamin K is essential to bone health, and avocados are full of it! Just half of an avocado provides 25% of your daily intake of Vitamin K, which will lead to better calcium absorption.
